Breaking Bann

Fundraising for Cancer Fund for Children
£6,608
raised of £7,000 target
We support children impacted by cancer to help the families through their journey

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

What began as a conversation in a coffee shop about goal setting between Damien Fegan and Brendan Murphy led to walking the Mourne Mountain Wall.

During the 22 mile treck we discussed our next challenge, and this time we would do it for charity

We are going to SUP (Stand-up Paddleboard) from Banbridge to Coleraine along the river Bann, and cross Lough Neagh. A journey of nearly 100 miles in 2 days, camping overnight. A journey of nearly 100 miles, AND crossing the largest lake in the UK or Ireland.

We have little to no experience, but feel that this worthwhile charity will gain form the funds we raise, and the exposure we might bring them.

We are Damien Fegan, Ruth Kinkead, Steve McKee, Brendan Murphy, Campbell Harris, and Adam Livingstone, Jon Medlow, Iain McCarthy, Fergus McGivern, and Ashley Hunter.

We all appriciate your support, and help raising the funds to help Daisy Lodge offer much needed support to families where a child is suffering from cancer.

Any donation from you will help.

Thank you
