I was diagnosed with a brain tumour aged 40. The support I have received and medical treatment is critical to my continued survival and that of others. I am currently being treated on the back of a research programme that has made new approaches to my tumour types  

I am mid radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment so to achieve this goal and raise the funds is a great motivator for me to stay fit and fight the tumour  

Funding is crucial as government funding for brain tumours is relatively low given the numbers of us that are diagnosed
