Individual Profile

My name is Bradley Hudson and I am 17 years old.  I will be taking part in the challenge as a walker.  This will be the first time I have attempted anything like this and I am really looking forward to the challenge.

In my day to day life I am trying to stay fit ready for the attempt at the three peaks challenge.  To do this I walk everywhere I go and I train at a boxing gym 3 times per week.

When on the peaks I will remain motivated and will be determined because I will not want to let the team down, and I really wouldn’t like to stay on the mountain.  Also the immense personal sense of satisfaction I will get from completing this challenge will be a great motivator.

I came to Stonham after a family breakup and the staff have helped me since my arrival, my money and budgeting skills have improved as well as my confidence.

I would like people to sponsor me in this challenge as then Stonham will be able to fund many more outings and challenges like this one.

Stonham Challenge Profile

Stonham provides housing, care and practical support for vulnerable people. Stoneham's work is about ensuring that disadvantaged people can live securely and independently. It works with single homeless people, people with mental health problems, young people leaving care, women and children escaping domestic violence, ex-offenders, refugees, vulnerable mothers and people with substance misuse problems.

We will be climbing the Yorkshire three peaks in the hope of building up enough sponsorship money to help us fund further projects including taking part in the national three peaks challenge next year.

This project was seen as an ideal opportunity for staff and residents of Stonham to develop team working skills and confidence.  All parties involved are looking forward to the huge sense of pride and achievement they will get from completing this project.
