Brad Watson & Gary Footman are Ty Hafan dads & friends, who are both undertaking The Great Wall of China challenge this May in remembrance of their children; Archie & Evie who were cared for by the amazing Ty Hafan.

Brad's son Archie was born with incurable Tay Sachs disease and sadly passed away aged 2 in 2013. Ty Hafan offered care, compassion and valuable support to Archie and his family during his short life and Brad has been a supporter of the charity since.

Gary's daughter Evie went to Ty Hafan for end of life care. The care and assistance his family received during their stay was unbelievable and most importantly meant they got to spend as much time with Evie as possible and build treasured memories. Furthermore, their families were also able to visit and spend time with Evie and hold her. They would not have been able to do this if they had decided to keep Evie in hospital.

Both Dad's have undertaken several challenges for the charity over the last 3 years but this is their biggest one yet and feel it's an amazing way to honour their children by putting themselves through such an arduous challenge. Their children have inspired them to take on this feat and help raise awareness and funds for such a worthy and important cause.
