Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It is 3 years now since Graham lost the battle that I somehow survived.
Sadly, there wasn't a bed available for Graham at St Catherine's when he most needed it and by the time one became available - it was too late. It wouldn't have been home, but that wasn't by that stage an option. It would have been a better option than hospital though.
I am quite sure that he would have relished the opportunity to take part in this amazing challenge (and wouldn't have needed to put in quite as much training as I'm going to have to do). All I can now do, is try and do it on his behalf.
Which is scary. What is even worse, is that I can't decide whether it's the trek or the fundraising that's most scary! However, we fortunately both have family and many good friends, neighbours and colleagues, who I hope I can now presume on, to support the fundraising efforts. I am organising several events for everyone to enjoy, whilst dipping their hands in their pockets, so please come and join us all, at any of those (bars always available). Everyone is most welcome. Otherwise, all donations via this page will also be gratefully accepted.
In the meantime I guess the rest is up to me.Please don't call for a little white van when you see me going round and round in circles up and down the library steps (double staircase - that's good ) - I'm in training! And if you see me down the Conti, I'm in training too - I'll have walked there ! 😊.
Many thanks for your support - Boz xx
