Story
On Sunday 29th May 2022 our fantastic team of 7 cyclists have committed to cycle a 100mile bike ride from London, going out into the rolling roads of Essex and finishing at Tower Bridge, London to raise awareness and money for Dystonia UK.
We’re excited and grateful to be able to take on this challenge and more importantly raise awareness and much needed money for vitally important clinical research and patient education. We recognise, from our day to day work with the NHS, the extreme challenges faced by our conscientious NHS colleagues and the impact Covid-19 has had on funding and supporting clinical research and patient care. ‘As One’ we’re hoping to help.
We’re very thankful to Boston Scientific, our sponsors, for making this event possible.
We thank you too for your interest in our team challenge and do hope you will support us, Dystonia UK. Every donation, no matter the size, really helps benefits patient education and support as well as fund crucial clinical research.

Over 100,000 people in the UK are affected by Dystonia, which is a neurological condition presenting with uncontrollable and sometimes painful muscle spasms. Dystonia is a lifelong condition that affects both adults and children that currently has no cure. Dystonia UK is children and adults with dystonia, carers and clinicians, fundraisers and families, medical professionals and our amazing members and supporters, all working side by side. Through our fundraisers and supporters (yes that is you!), we can carry on our mission, so thank you!
