Story
Thank you for your support. Almost three years ago I ran most of my first 5k parkrun (there was a fair bit of walking too), two years ago I ran the whole of my first 10k. The next challenge is to more than double that with 21k or 13(ish) miles in the Very Hilly Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon and now it's less than seven weeks away I find myself wondering why that's a good idea.
At this moment I'm yet to run further than 13k in one go, and that was done rather slowly. My aim/hope/pie in the sky dream is to finish the run in under two and a half hours. The reality is that the cut off is 3hrs and I *will* get an official finish time.
Any fundraising I can gain as part of this mad/stupid running adventure will be very gratefully received. Macmillan Nurses really are unsung heroes when it comes to supporting people with cancer.
