Story
Books For Syria is a national chapter of Books International, a UNESCO-certified project.
The mission of Books for Syria is to provide educational material for
Syrian children impacted by conflict and displacement. The focus is on
creating and delivering books to Syrian children in refugee camps, and this
is made possible by activating talented writers and illustrators in the
community to develop socially conscious and culturally relevant content for
the children. All of the Books for Syria projects aim to give the children
a sense empowerment and hope for the future while providing a valuable
resource to complement their education.
