Story

On Tuesday, November 29th, I'll be at Substance Skatepark in Brooklyn, NYC  taking requests for tricks in exchange for donations to The Children's Hospital Charity.  We’ll start at 1pm EST.  This charity supports the Sheffield Children's Hospital in England, which has one of the most recognized and trusted pediatric medical programs in the world.  Since kids are being flown into this hospital for emergencies and trauma, a helipad is needed on the building so they can receive care as quickly as possible.  Currently, helicopters are only able to land in a field across the street, so the patients are losing valuable time because of waiting for traffic and pedestrian bystanders.  Those few minutes lost could be the difference between life or death for some children.

I'm an Olympic Skateboarder and I want to do my small part on Giving Tuesday to help support this important goal.  At 1pm EST on the 29th, I'll be live on Instagram at @bombette_martin waiting for trick requests from my viewers (and at least attempting to land them all:)  Join me, whether you skate or not, and please donate towards this effort!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
