I am celebrating my 90^th birthday by travelling down Zip
World Velocity in Bethesda, North-West Wales, the fastest zip line in the World, and the longest in Europe.

In 2012 I first contracted glaucoma, which later developed into age related macular degeneration (ARMD), leaving me with severely limited vision in both of his eyes. With the support and training provided by Blind Veterans UK, I have been able to regain my confidence and achieve a degree of independence, in spite of my sight loss. 

My first involvement with the charity was when they invited me onto an introduction course at their Llandudno centre. It was then that I realised what a wonderful organisation it really is. It's a charity I genuinely love and I look forward to being able to give something back to them.
