With Your Help We Made It
Wolverhampton – Lands End – John O’Groats – Wolverhampton
Why? - To raise money for Compton Hospice in memory of our mucker Bob Barlow who sadly died from cancer in May this year. The care he received at Compton Hospice was second to none affording him the best possible care whilst allowing him to maintain his dignity.
How? - Planes Trains and Automobiles was our theme, 875 miles hitch hiking by road, 540 miles by a donated plane journey and 286 miles by a sponsored train ride.
The journey was amazing and only achieved in such a short space of time by the incredible kindness shown by all those people who helped us along the way.
