Story
Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre is a charity you support in the hopes that you never have to utilise it. But for so many women and girls in Cambridge, the CRCC is an essential source of support throughout the lengthy process of recovery from sexual violence.
For £20, three survivors can access information packs which provide comprehensive and invaluable guidance.
For £50, a traumatised individual can receive a session of potentially life-changing counselling.
For £100, the CRCC can recruit and train volunteers for their 24 hour helpline service for those affected by sexual violence.
For my birthday this year, I would appreciate any and all contributions to keep such an important resource available to every student and resident in Cambridge.
Your money cannot prevent sexual violence against women occurring, but by ensuring these services remain open we can go some way to protecting every single survivor in their fight for recovery and journey towards healing.
