Story
Hey folks, thank you for stopping by this page!
What's happening?
Through a dramatic event involving a baby bird (it was saved by these heroes, don't worry), we recently found out that the local Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service in North London is facing closure.
This is an emergency wildlife rescue service, so they help save animals from road injuries, sickness or orphaned (because it's spring, there are a lot of baby birds, baby owls, baby foxes needing this help) and eventually prepare them for release back into the wild whenever possible.
Unfortunately their tea rooms and centre are closed to the public this season because of Coronavirus, which has cut their main source of revenue for the year.
If they are unable to raise the much needed funds, sadly they will be forced to close (which usually doesn't bode well for animals that can't be released back into the wild). They urgently need our help to raise £110k to cover the running costs of the centre, as well as food and healthcare for their wildlife residents.
I will be streaming and screaming about this to whomever listens for as long as it takes to get these folks out of hot water! So brace yourselves.
Every amount helps, no matter how small!
- £5 Could help will feed a baby bird for a week.
- £10 Could pay for a foxes mange treatment for a month.
- £15 Could help pay for the monthly servicing costs of our ambulance, ensuring it is ‘call out’ ready.
- £25 Could help cover the monthly cost of caring for a juvenile hedgehog over the winter months until spring release.
