Story

Blokes 'n' Spokes are a group of  11 friends , all cyclists of one sort or another , who have banded together to raise funds for Zoe’s Place, the hospice for the under 5s in Coventry. We have challenged ourselves to cycle the 170 miles from Morecombe to Bridlington, Coast to Coast on the “Way of the Roses” in one day.

Whether we are relatively new to cycling or old hands we share a passion for cycling and want to put that to good use. Whilst we might tick off one of the Bucket list for cyclists in the UK we also want to raise as much money as we can for this incredibly deserving Charity.

Hopefully, as well as providing you with opportunities to donate, this page will record the trials and tribulations of our preparation and enable us to egg each other on with hints and tips, and a good deal of banter. You never know we might even get fit and slim enough by the end to pose for a charity calendar!
