Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Some of you may not know that my gorgeous Mumsie was diagnosed with breast cancer on the 20th December 2020. Its been far from easy nor has it been straight forward from diagnosis to treatment.
After 2 lots of surgery we are hopefully on the road to recovery and fingers crossed a positive prognosis with a treatment plan in place at The Christies Hospital.
This has been a very scary and daunting time for us all with the fear of the unknown set to challenge us. But those who know my mum have probably experienced her dry sense of humour and stubbornness and with the same intent she has embraced this bump in the road with the strongest and most positive attitude you could ever imagine.
So here goes..
I've been trying to think of ways in which I can provide additional support to get through this scary time together but also raise awareness. I wanted to do something that scared me also with the fear of the unknown. I absolutely hate the thought of heights, my legs wobble at the top of an escalator never mind reaching the top of Blackpool tower. SO.. I am willing to endure the awful experience of a 11,000ft skydive in aid of the bravery my mum has shown over the last 5 months and what she is yet to experience.
I must be absolutely mental but I feel at ease knowing that I am doing this for the perfect cause so please make it worth my while as I certainly wont be doing it again! :D
