Story

This year I am braving it and taking my running to the next level...Yes, I am running the Reading half marathon! And even though it is a personal challenge, I want to do this not only for myself but also for a great charity that I have been involved with for the past two years. The National Autistic Society do a brilliant job in supporting people affected by autism. They provide help for both people with autism and their families and carers.

I have volunteered in their "befriending scheme" which matches volunteers and people with autism or even their family members to arrange some time out together, doing things that suit both befriender and befriendee. This experience for me was extremely rewarding and also a lot of fun!

So please, please support this charity through my page and help my motivation to complete those 13 miles that are looming ahead...
