We are running because in 2010 our daughter/ sister/ niece was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, giving us an insight to what effects Ulcerative Colitis has on an individual on a day to day basis. We want to be able to help those who are suffering and support vital ongoing research in the hope of putting this cruel disease to an end.
Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis affect over 300,000 in the UK, we are looking to raise money to ultimately help funding find a cure for something which people are suffering from emotionally and physically everyday.
Thank you for reading our story, all donations and support is hugely appreciated!
All the best,
The Birnie family
