My Grandad Denis was a great character. He had the ability to make conversation in any environment. Dementia has taken his bubbly nature away from him. Although physically he is still here, he was someone who was once a knowledgeable and comical character, but he became flustered with the easiest of conversations. A former pub lover from Stepney, that loved music. His diagnosis of Lewy Bodies becomes a very horrible type of Dementia, which eventually requires major care. For me, Admiral Nurses have a hard job to do, and have my utmost respect and appreciation, and I hope I could raise some funds to help them.
