Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Billie was 12 when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She endured amost 2 years of intense treatment before she died aged 14.
Billie was an amazing person. She faced her illness with a bravery and grace far beyond her years. She was 'Billie' right up to the end and never lost her sharp humour, kindness and thoughtfulness.
She was beautiful and clever and wanted to be a dancer and a lawyer. I have no doubt she would have acheived these goals if she had been given the chance.
Please help me reach my goal of raising money for the charity that helped us thoughout her illness. No amount is too small (or too large) and the money will go towards supporting children and young people like our Billie. Billie loved her room on the TCT ward. It made such a difference to her to be treated like the young lady she was.
Please, please give what you can. Do it for Billie, do it for the hundreds of children and young people diagnosed with cancer every year and do it for the pleasure of seeing an unfit, middle aged mother of five put herself though a punishing schedule in a desperate attempt to get fit enough to run 10k!
