Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Does everyone remember my AWESOME dog, Boss???
Well after finding him a new home 3 years ago this is the first I've seen of him.
A friend of mine tagged me in a post on Facebook from the Rain Rescue centre in Sheffield after picking boss up from a stray pound.
When I rehoused Boss, his owner answered my messages and calls for the first few weeks when I checked to see if he was ok, but after a while he stopped replying and I had no other way to get in touch.
When I first saw the post I was obviously upset, angry and I couldn't help feel guilty for what's happened to him.
Looking back I wish I did more to find the right home but the rescue centre assured me that these things happen even to the them, to the best of people and to the best dogs sometimes. No matter what the intentions of previous owners, circumstances can change and you can never be sure that a new owner will take care of them correctly throughout their entire life.
Boss is being well looked after with the people at Rain Rescue but he's in a bad way. The pressure sores on his legs and a cyst on the back of his neck have grown due to neglect and they might be the reason he was cowardly abandoned, due to the increasing vet bills.
In one sense I'm happy he's with the right people and I know where he is now. I'll be raising funds however I can for a few weeks as the people at Rain Rescue cover their vet bills on donations from the public.
Please share this post and donate whatever you can. Even a couple of quid each soon adds up.
If 500 people donated £2 then that's the £1000 we're looking for to help Boss get better and find the best home.
Every little helps and we would appreciate every small donation.
Rain Rescue do an amazing job and it's not just boss that needs saving.
Many thanks in advance.
Tony & the people at Rain Rescue.
