Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We want to thank you again for your continued support.

We try to spread knowledge about HLH as a dear family friend’s daughter Gracie tragically passed away at the young age of 16 from hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). Gracie was a lovely young lady with a terrific sense of humour and the most witty, quick-witted attitude.

HLH is a severe systemic inflammatory This syndrome can occur in normal people with no medical conditions, HLH can cause a strong activation of the immune system, such as infection or cancer. Aiming to ensure early detection, efficient treatment, and a cure for all histiocytic disorders, Histio UK is committed to supporting and funding scientific research.
Together with supporting sufferers and their families, Histio UK seeks to increase knowledge of histiocytic illnesses among the general public and medical community.
In honour of Gracie, we are organising this fun bike ride event. We are also lending our support to the organisation HistioUK, which is near and dear to our hearts.
