Story
The Bevern Trust is a registered charity. We seek to change, progress and improve. We offer love, care, freedom and opportunity allowing profoundly disabled people to get more from life and where care, family and love come first, every day. The Bevern Trust is passionate about releasing people from the expectations others have about disability.
As a charity, we rely on your generosity to help us continue to give our residents more from life. In line with government guidelines, we've cancelled many upcoming fundraising events and sadly are set to experience a loss of income.
Any support that you can give us would be greatly appreciated.
Over the next few weeks, we have the following events planned-
2.6 Challenge:
The residents at Bevern View are taking part in the 2.6 challenge on the 26th of April, this would have been the 40th anniversary of the London Marathon which like many other charity fundraisers has unfortunately been cancelled.
The 2.6 challenge is to help raise money for charities that have been affected by Covid-19 through cancelled events. We have decided to join in with the challenge to raise money for Bevern View, each resident will take it in turns to do 2.6 laps of Bevern View using their wheelchairs or may-walkers.
Zoom Pub Quiz:
Calling all quizzers, Bevern are hosting their first virtual pub quiz on the Friday 1st May at 7.30pm.
Grab your house team and join us with raising money for Bevern View and our residents from the comfort of your own sofa. Donate what you can to enter and be in with the chance of winning a bottle of bubbly. Due to logistics we will have 20 teams only and if demands serves will continue to host more quiz’s.
We will keep you updated on here and via our facebook page with any other future events.
Please use this JustGiving page for any fundraising events we have coming up in the next few weeks, as well as general donations.
Thank you for your continued support.
