Story
A very big thank you to everybody who has taken the time to visit my website, or given money directly.
The race itself was a fantastic experience, and I would like to attempt the task again next year!!! The party atmosphere from the crowd was so overwhelming, it's given me 'the bug' to apply for many more 10k races.
Once again a massive thank you to everyone for your support.
P.S. If anyone finds my legs, please return them to my address!! Airbrushed photographs to follow!

We still need to continue with the awareness and vaccination campaign. Recent information about the meningococcal meningitis group B vaccine in the UK is a brilliant example of how fundraising can make a difference. Through fundraising, use of medical professionals and researchers, we have been able to get this life-saving vaccine recommended in the UK childhood immunisation schedule. However, sadly meningitis still kills over 1,000 people around the world every single day and tens of thousands more are left with life-long disabilities. Many of those affected have been small children and young adults, but people of any age can be affected.
Through continuous fund raising in the memory of Sophie Jane, we can support the funding of research projects around the world, which will help identify and evaluate vaccines and redefine the treatment and management of Meningitis and Septicaemia.
