Story
In 2018 my husband Martin was diagnosed with a rare Kidney Cancer. It was unexpected and left us completely shocked. Martin was diagnosed and treated in ‘The Christie’ and spent 10 days in the hospital, 4 in the Critical Care Unit.
‘The Christie’ helped us in many ways. Everyone we came into contact with were extremely supportive, compassionate, caring, friendly and so professional. We are especially grateful and want to say a huge thank you to the brilliant Professor Noel Clarke.
Martin is recovering well and is back at work. We want to give something back to help and bring hope to all families. Please help us by supporting the Christie Charity.
Toni and her family have also been affected, sadly Toni lost her mum to Cancer. Toni is passionate about funding research and supporting patients and families to get the very best treatment available. Toni is supporting ‘The Christie’ in memory of her mum.
By entering the RHS Chatsworth Long Border competition we are supporting ‘The Christie’ Charity to raise awareness of the devastating impact on patients and families and how the very best care makes a huge difference to everyone. We are building a garden of the senses with lots of colour, fragrance and textures. A place where you can relax and enjoy nature. Provoking well-being and tranquility.
All donations will benefit the ‘The Christie’ charity. Join The Christie against Cancer.
