Story
Betty McRorie passed away on Friday 4th December after a very short illness. Betty was a beloved Wife, Mum, Nana, Sister and Auntie. Betty meant the world to us all and we are heartbroken at her sudden passing.
We were planning on having a collection bucket at the funeral however due to the current climate we decided contactless payment would be more sensible. Aside from this, we are also conscious that there may be some who who would like to contribute but won't able to make the funeral due to Covid restrictions.
The charity we have chosen is the Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Anyone who knew Betty knew she was an animal lover and cared dearly for animal welfare and as such this was a cause that she personally donated to.
In 2018 the SSPCA rehomed an amazing 5,068 animals and reunited 984 lost pets with their owners - all done without Government funding.
We appreciate that this is the worst time of the year to ask however any small donation would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance,
The McRorie Family.
