Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On around the 23rd of October Sarah and I were happily eating the usual feast after rowing training, having X Factor in the background she began to tell me of her crazy idea about doing the Paris Marathon to which i nearly choked on my dunked chocolate Hobnob. But I then thought... and perhaps I didnt think enough, but sure enough the next morning before we set off to Uni for the day, we booked our places. We were so giddy and excited about it and still are, 'the best eighty quid we've ever spent' we said, but we also said 'what are we doing?'. I think we'll decide on the positivity once we've crossed the line after 26.2 miles.

I'm running to raise money for Headway, The Brain Injury Association, helping to improve the life of people after brain injury. My mum suffered from a brain Haemorrhage in 2007 and eventhough she is fully recovered the ordeal was a traumatic experience and a difficult time for the whole family. I want people to have the support and care that my mum did so that more recoveries can be made and stories can end happily, like my mums.

I'm running with my best friend Miss Sarah Bull who has inspired and supported me even up to this early stage, we will be running together for valuable causes so please donate and let this future of tired toes and knackered knees be worth it. From seeing Sarahs journey last year to the London Marathon I know training will be hard, but I feel ready for the challenge and going on our way to crossing that line after 26.2 miles.
