On the 1st of July 2018, Kate and I are putting our trisuits on and taking on the beautiful grounds of Bowood House. We have to swim 750m across a lake (for all those who know me, this is my worst nightmare), cycle 21km and run 5km. But it’s all for a great cause.
We’ve chosen to raise money for an amazing charity, Downs Syndrome Oxford. This charity is really special to an amazing friend and colleague of ours and we want to raise as much money as we possibly can as they do such incredible things.
Down’s Syndrome Oxford is organised and funded by parents and supporters to provide information, help and activities for children with Down’s Syndrome and their families in the Oxfordshire area. They provide a support network for those who have downs Syndrome and their families. They provide seminars, lectures and social events for everyone to get involved in.
So... if you fancy coming down and supporting us on this day, you’ll see us both flapping around with all our ridiculous amounts of equipment (literally all the gear and no idea)!!!
