Story
Hi everybody! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I was talking with my badger buddies about the best way to raise money for my favourite first aid charity, St John Ambulance, and I decided that a Blind Drive Challenge sounded like a fun way to raise money whilst having a great time!
Driving a car blindfolded around RAF Cosford, an airbase in south Shropshire, will be a real thrill and I'm looking forward to seeing all the little badgers taking part in the youth games and BBQ that are taking place on the day. I was happy to hear I will be in a duel controlled car to keep things safe, but it's still a real buzz raising money for this fantastic cause!
St John Ambulance is a fantastic charity and their volunteers are simply the difference between life and death. The West Midlands team alone volunteered over 80,000 hours service to the community last year whilst safeguarding the public at regional events all over the area, treating 3376 casualties during this period. They are always present when it counts and ensure that no one suffers for the lack of first aid skills - passing on their skills to their volunteers aged five upwards and the public to make for a safer community.
So PLEASE dig deep and donate now. If you are over the age of ten, think the event sounds fun and would like to join me on the day to take part in the Blind Drive Challenge you can call 01905 363542 or register here.
