The 3 of us are spending our lunch breaks at work heading to a big flight of outdoor steps in the city to do a ‘virtual’ climb of Ben Nevis between now and the 17th December. We invited you to follow our journey and will be posting video and photo updates along the way where possible. We will be completing 8,810 steps on incline squeezed into lunch breaks in the week! We are doing this at least twice a week, doing approximately 7 rounds of the steps each session (700 steps on incline) to reach our goal ahead of Christmas. 

We wanted to do this already for healthy minds and bodies during lockdown, but it brought to light how much others have struggled this year being on reduced wages, unemployed or made redundant. We want those people to be able to give gifts to their children and families without too much added stress this year so we want to raise whatever we can to donate to this great charity in the North East who are arranging financial support to those families in need and providing a gift to every family they work with.
