Bristol Jail Break · 14 November 2009

Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. We aim to create the conditions that all people with Down’s syndrome need to live full and rewarding lives.

Story

This weekend, Jon Wilthsire and Ben Vardy are going to be embarking on a charity hitch-hike in aid of the Down's Syndrome Association.

The event is called Bristol Jailbreak, and the idea is to get as far away from Bristol as possible in 36 hours without spending a penny on transport, previous competitors have made it all the way to America!
You can keep track of our progress HERE.

The Down's Syndrome is a very worthy cause, whose missions are:

• To provide information and support for people with Down's syndrome, their families and carers, and the professionals who work with them.
• To strive to improve knowledge of the condition.
• To champion the rights of people with Down's syndrome.

This is a charity that really improves the quality of lives of thousands of people, and is well worth donating towards.
You can find out more about them here.

You can sponsor us with a one off sum, or you can sponsor us by distance (e.g. 2p per mile.) Every donation, however small, will be deeply appreciated and will go directly to the charity.

So please give whatever you can spare, even if it's the price of a single pint of beer, and hopefully together we can raise a substantial amount for the DSA (Down's Syndrome Association not the Driving Standards Agency)

Thank you very much,
Ben and Jon x
