In memory of George Rodd
We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

I have chosen to put my body on the line through the cold months for the Brain Tumour Charity in Support of the Rodd family, who live locally to me and cease to amaze me with their courage and fortitude.

My aim is to run 10 Kilometers on Friday mornings, a minimum of 10 times over 14 weeks between 3rd January and 4th April 2014 inclusive.

George Rodd was born 12th December 2009 along with his twin brother Austin. He spent three and a half years getting the most out of the life of a little one and shared most of his experiences with his older brother Oscar.

In Easter 2013, George displayed symptoms of something being amiss - simply being unbalanced on a trampoline. After various doctors appointments an MRI revealed a Golf ball sized tumour at the back of Georges brain.

Despite the best available surgery, George sadly passed away a mere 6 weeks after his initial diagnosis.

By supporting the Brain Tumour charity, I want to help the 500 children and 4500 adults under 40 years old diagnosed each year.

Help me by just sponsoring me £1 per 10km - or more!

Thank you

Ben
