Fundraising for The Brain Tumour Charity
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last August I was diagnosed with brain cancer and following an awake crainotomy and six month adjunctive treatment of chemotherapy, I am raising money to help fund more research into brain cancer.
Initially I was going to raise money for Cancer Research or a similar charity, however, after doing some research of my own - I discoveredBrain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40, yet out of the £500 million invested in cancer research in the UK each year, less than two per cent is spent on brain tumours.
I will be hosting a charity auction and raffle on the 13th June at Devoran Village Hall in Cornwall - which you are all invited to. However, I appreciate that lots of you live far and wide and you might not be able to make it!
