Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page for Wynstones' New Hall.

The school really needs the space this amazing building will provide - and we've already done so much as a community get it this far. A couple of summers ago a month of intensive effort by parents, children and friends saw the main structure erected - except for some key steel braces the whole structure was hand-made (think of the barn-raising in 'The Witness' if you're a film buff, albeit with a crane and a couple of access paltforms for H&S reasons!). I personally made a large number of the concave roof beams used on each side of the bulding.

This walk is part of the last 'big push' to get it properly equipped and finished, and your sponsorship will really help not only this project, but also the national charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (C.R.Y) which is set to recieve a share of all proceeds raised.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe - JustGiving never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the New Hall fund and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - more funds are raised whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charities.

Thanks very much for reading this, and thanks in advance for your donation if you do decide to support us,
