Story
In November I am going to attempt to walk 94km across the Sahara Desert in aid of Birmingham Childrens Hospital. Without the expertise of heart surgeon Babulal Sethia and his pioneering surgery plus the care I received by the staff I wouldn't be here today.
Now I know walking 94km doesn't sound that impressive but to someone who was born with a serious heart condition that needed major corrective surgery its a little daunting and challenging to say the least...
People who have already completed the trek have told me that it was challenging for them and they did not have any medical conditions to contend with. Which means for the next 9 months all my spare time will be spent getting myself fit for the challenge...
So please spread the word, dig deep and donate now :)
