Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page!
I have joined up with my 3 team mates to take part in the 2013 Oxfam Trailwalker challenge - to complete the 100km Trailwalker trail, across the South Downs, in under 30 hours! Originally started 30 years ago by the Queen's Gurkha Signals Regiment to test soldiers' stamina and teamwork skills - so, yes, it's going to be tough!
Those of you that know me will know this is definitely out of my comfort zone! However, with a very worthy cause behind it, I felt this was a great opportunity for self improvement and most importantly, prove to myself that I can do it.
We will be walking 100km in under 30 hours on July 27-28, through the night, along side over 500 other teams, in order to raise money for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
So, please dig deep and give generously to what will surely be a great achievement and a very worthy cause!
