Story
Dear lovely friend.
Thank you so much for taking the trouble to have a look at this page.
I'm running the London Marathon again, and this time I'm doing it to try and raise money for the Parkinson's Disease Society.
Both my Uncle, and my Father in Law have Parkinson's, perhaps someone you know does too.
It's a horrible condition that slowly erodes the dignity of a person, first breaking their body, and then attacking their mind.
The disease can affect anyone, at anytime, (some sufferers are as young as 18) and currently, there is no known cure.
The Parkinson's Disease Society is a fantastic charity that helps funds research into finding a cure for the disease, as well as helping everyone who's life is affected by Parkinson's.
I appreciate that times are tough for all of us financially at the moment, but if it's possible, please could you sponsor me to run on April 25th?
I have a Gold Bond place in the Marathon, and need to raise £1700.00, so any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now, and together we can help fight this terrible illness.
Thank you
B xxx
