Story
I am extremely passionate for all things horticultural... and that also includes the people working within the industry! I am completing a 5KM obstacle course know as the Nuts Challenge - read more about it here: http://www.thenutschallenge.co.uk/
Its going to be extremely wet, ridiculously muddy and alot of hard work, but all for a great cause.
Its all in aid of Perennial. An extremely important charity for all horticulturists like myself. We can all fall into times of hardship and when this happens, Perennial is there to help.
Please donate whatever amount you can spare, it all goes to this great cause who really make a big difference to alot of people's lives.
Please read more about the charity Perennial here:
Perennial offers free, confidential advice and
support to everyone working in or retired from horticulture and their families,
including gardeners, landscapers, nursery and garden centre staff, parks and
grounds care staff and tree surgeons. People turn to Perennial for financial
and emotional help in times of need because of disability, sickness, poverty,
financial hardship and old age – although increasingly younger people are
seeking their assistance. Many individuals describe the services Perennial
offers as a 'lifeline'. The work of Perennial depends entirely on
voluntary donations from the horticultural industry and the garden-loving
public.
