My name is Ben Gardiner and upto 6 weeks ago I smoked 40 Cigarettes a day and was 4 stone over wieght. I am undertaking a massive challange in competing in the Tough Mudder www.toughmudder.co.uk/midlands .

I am doing this to get as many defibrillator's into schools and sports clubs in the bay area Lancaster, Morecambe, Carnforth, Kendal, Millom, Conniston, Barrow-in-Furness and Windermere. Also to help support Vale of Lune Juniors rugby team who support young children getting into sport.

Each defibrillator costs £ 1000 and we want to get 15 into local schools and train everyone on how to use them. I am a member of the Vale of Lune staff as Fund Raising Manager and will be asking for the full support of all parents in the area to help rasie this money.
