On Sunday 29th May I'm taking part in RideLondon-Essex 100 - a 100-mile cycling challenge - raising money for Parkinson's UK, a charity very close to my heart.
Having only been cycling since Lockdown 2020, getting my first road bike as a way to exercise whilst gyms were shut, 100 miles is not something I've ever done before but I can't wait to take on the challenge.
The route will see me set off from Victoria Embankment in central London and into Essex through Epping Forest, Ongar, Fyfield, the Rodings, Great Dunmow, Felsted, Chelmsford, Writtle and back towards Ongar and central London - finishing at Tower Bridge!
Without doubt there will be times where I really have to dig deep and knowing I'm raising money for such an important cause will help drive me on - so if you feel able to donate or cheer me on along the route, your support would mean the world!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - roll on 29 May!
