Lovat Shinty Club is a volunteer run, sports organisation serving the villages of Kiltarlity and Kirkhill, in rural Inverness-shire. The club provides sporting opportunity for children and adults, male and female, in the local area and is the heartbeat of the community. Match days are an important social event for community, not just the players. The senior men’s team are playing at the pinnacle of the sport and are the holders of the Camanachd Cup for the first time since 1953. Youth development is now a major focus for the club and our youth membership has increased massively over the past six months due to a new coaching initiative. Also, the club has seen the recent introduction of a ladies team.
