Brighton Half Marathon 2012 · 19 February 2012 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I DID IT!! Thanks so much to everyone who sponsored me and came down to wave and shout (and stalk me on bikes!). Had amazing weather and really enjoyed it. My original time was 1.57 but this was adjusted to 1.54 after they realised that the route was half a mile longer than it should have been....

In typically disorganised fashion, three days before the big day I've just got around to setting up my page...but please overlook this tiny glitch and donate to this great cause...

WHAT: I am running the Brighton half marathon

WHEN: This Sunday - the 19th Feb...(too soon arghhhh!)

WHY: To raise money for the Stroke Association who fund research, stroke prevention work and also provide a fantastic service supporting stroke survivors and their families. This is a cause that means a lot to me after my dear Dad had a stroke aged 49 (yep bring out the violins, it wouldnt be a justgiving page without a tug at the heartstrings!).

WHO: Just me (in the middle of the pic above). Sadly the Annie and Annabella of this Anniebellaannabella trio aren't joining me (this time).

I would be hugely grateful for any support you can give - no amount is too small. And for anyone in Brighton on Sunday please come down to the front and give me a cheer xx
