I first heard about the Moonlit Walk via Zurich Cares - The event grabbed my attention and when our team were unsuccessful in winning the challenge to help man the water stations I was determined to help to make a difference and decided to take part along with some friends and colleagues who make up the Midnight Madness Team.

It has been quite sometime since I have walked 12 miles in one go and there have already been blisters to tend to in preparing for the main event.  In the end, it will all be worth it and very importantly, your kind donations will help the Rowans Hospice continue with their very important work.

The Rowans Hospice is a local charity (South East Hampshire) dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.  Services are provided free from discrimination and free of charge, but each year £3.7m is required so that the vital work can continue.
