Help us turn wishes into happy memories!
On the 8 September, I will be competing in the Tri for Life short distance triathlon with my friends Christine Felder and Harriet Lamb, to raise money for Rays of Sunshine. Christine will be running 5k, Harriet swimming 400m and I will be cycling 20k.
Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity exists to grant the wishes of children who are living with serious or life-threatening illnesses between the ages of 3-18 who live in the United Kingdom.
Rays of Sunshine’s dedicated wish team responds to ALL wish applications within two weeks. They do not operate a waiting list, but give every wish their immediate attention. With your help these children and their families can experience the joy and excitement of doing something they've only ever dreamt of before.
My 8 year old daughter, Brooke, is also taking part and hopes to complete the children’s Scootathlon, which includes a 400m scoot, 400m cycle and a 250m run. Brooke is very much involved with Rays of Sunshine and would love to see the children’s wishes come true, so please help us all make this a reality.
