Story
I met a woman called Saskia Jones during my second year of university. We instantly had a connection, we both had the same sense of humour and never stopped laughing when we were together. Our friendship went from 0 to 100 spending almost every day together. We studied together, went to the pub together, laughed together and even cried together. My problems were hers and her problems were mine. She became a big part of my life, she inspired me in many ways to better myself. She was very active, going to the gym every day. She managed to achieve 100% in her dissertation while carrying out volunteer work at the same time. She always put her friends before herself. I could go on for hours listing things she excelled In.
Devastatingly , on the 29th November 2019 Saskia became the victim of a horrible terror attack in London and unfortunately lost her life. I would love to keep her memory alive by completing challenges that reflect Saskia’s nature and personality.
When Saskia was 6 years old, she was involved in a car accident which resulted in injury to her head. The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire service saved Saskia’s life that day. If it wasn’t for them I would never of had the privilege of meeting her and having her in my life. Saskia donated to this service on a regular basis, I feel it would be an honour to raise money in her memory.
Please donate and follow my progress via Facebook. All challenges will documented and make public on my Facebook page Alice Elks.
