Story

As your local Salvation Army our hearts and hands remain open as we endeavor to meet the needs of our community and find the gaps that are not being met.

  • Working with local schools to support families that fall through the net
  • Serving takeaway lunches to rough sleepers & other vulnerable people (On Wednesdays & Sundays)
  • Shopping for those who cannot go out
  • Being available as a listening ear to those who need someone to talk to
  • Supplying emergency food parcels & utility support
  • Our Debt Advice Centre is working to help people who find themselves in financial difficulties
With your help we will continue to be ready to meet the ongoing needs of our community that will undoubtedly impact beyond this lockdown period.
