RACE FOR LIFE 2014!

as some of you know i have previousy done the race for life before, this year aswell as last year i done the race for life for my mum.

January 2013 she was told that her cancer was back and had spread from the lung, to the lymphods and to the liver, she was then informed that she only had a year left, as she is now terminal.....

mum had a big fight on her hands she had chemotherapy and radiotherapy ( which she had previously a couple of years ago), they told her that all this would do it pro long her life...

after months of fighting in novemember  mum went to her hospital appointment and was told the tumors have shrunk right down. and that the radio and chemo was a success, against all odds mum is in a short term remission... this means that the cancer is stable, but will return in due course...

the extent of the treatment mum has had, including an operoration removing over 60% of her lung, she has been left with damaged kidneys which she is being monitored for...

i am very proud of my mum of everythings shes been through, i really hope she has more fight left in her, for when this "thing" returns !!!
