Help Desperately Needed... We have a DOCKING Situation....
Clay came into us at just 8 months old a young very excitable working Collie. He was stressed when he arrived in the kennels and due to boredom chased his tail. We noticed a tiny scratch on the end which we monitored for couple of days, then he went onto antibiotics but unfortunately they didn't work. He was again rushed to vets but it was getting worse not better. The vets decided he needed a operation to remove the tip of his tail. This was done on 22nd April along with being Neutered. We thought all was well so he went on his way to his new home with more pain relief and antibiotics. Unfortunately Clay has now been taken back to the vets as wasn't healing as well as expected. The vets have given us the bad news that the end of the tail as now died. So will need another Operation to amputate the tail. This is now going to cost the rescue a large sum of money that due to covid and currant situation we just don't have the funds for.
So we are reaching out to our amazing supporters to please ask for any help you can give towards this gorgeous young pup enjoy the bright future he has in front of him.
Every £1 will help massively.
