When My Dear Mum was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 and finally lost her battle in 2012 my whole world changed. She taught me how to be strong, brave and resilient even if some things cannot be fixed. This lady lives on in mine and my girls lives and I’m raising them as the independent women she was and taught me to be. Not a single day goes by when she’s not in our thoughts. I am doing this in honour of the most amazing lady she was. I just hope I don’t live up to my name of Bridget Jones and end up in a pig sty!
