We wanted to let you know more about why MPN Voice is a charity so close to our hearts. I (Wendy) was diagnosed with an MPN (Myeloproliferative Neoplasm) some 15 + years ago. It is classed as a rare type of blood cancer because the bone marrow produces blood cells in an uncontrolled way. Although there is no cure we are lucky that it can be managed.
MPN Voice offers support, information, education and advocacy for patients, their families and health care professionals. Funds raised have also been invested in research and supporting clinical trials with some oustanding results.
MPN Voice is run by volunteers who are amazing dedicated people both MPN patients and healthcare professionals and make a huge difference to our lives.
