Story
In October 2017 Becca was rushed into A&E with Sepsis. The doctors found she had heart cancer.
Further to failed chemotherapy she was rushed to Harefield where she was given the chance of life by having a Total Artificial Heart fitted.
She remained cancer free for 12 months and was added to the urgent transplant list for a donor heart in January 2019.
Becca was called for a heart transplant mid-February. The heart was good and the surgery went perfectly.
Sadly a few hours afterwards things took a downturn. She had at least six further surgeries/procedures over the following week.
The following Tuesday evening the doctors carried out a CT scan of her brain.
Sadly they found she had suffered a catastrophic bleed in her brain and would not recover.
On Wednesday 27th February 2019 close friends and family came to see her for one last time at Harefield. In the afternoon her life support was switched off and at 3.30pm she gained her angel wings.
Becca was a wonderful young woman who gave so much to so many and always wanted to help make each person's corner of the world that little bit better.
She left in her wishes that she wanted to help raise money to give something back to the amazing people who have helped her through the last year.
She will be forever loved and her memory treasured.
